Overview

Registration is open between September and June for North Vancouver Online Learning courses. New students, adult students, and continuing students, please see the drop downs below to review the requirements to register or withdrawal for a course.  If you have any questions, please connect with the office.

Students should begin engaging with their course within one month after enrolling to avoid being removed due to inactivity. Students who have access to a course but who show no progress for multiple reporting periods will be removed.

Before registering, we recommend you add @northvancouver.brightspace.com, @smsonline.ca and @sd44.ca to your safe senders list, to ensure you receive all of our email communications.

Please note: Students in Grade 8 or 9 must attend a school in BC to enrol in NVOL courses. Students in Grade K-7 are not eligible to enrol in online courses. Exceptions can be made (with Principal approval) for Grade 7 students currently enrolled in the North Vancouver School District.

  • *Cross enrollment means you are attending a secondary school in BC and cross-enrol to another secondary school to enrol in courses outside of your regularly scheduled timetable at your home school.
